Been there for 2 hours and we took train to Dhoby Ghaut.
Watched 全城热恋 and it's been a while since I last catch a movie.

Happy Chinese New Year!

Here's an update on the awesome CNY 2010 spent in Malaysia.

Friday (12th Feb)

I was on leave since I am going back to my hometown together with my mum and 2 brothers. There were at least 10 coaches from different tour companies.The journey back home was bumpy and long, I wanted to catch more sleep but I didn't. We reached the terminal in Muar at about 12:30pm and the scorching hot sun was unbearable. Waited an hour for my aunt to fetch us back home and there was traffic jam. I was feeling tired at 5 and I slept for 2 hours. Dinner was next and I helped my mum with the cleaning.

Saturday (13th Feb)

It's the New Year's Eve and my whole family went to my Uncle's house. Prayed to our ancestors and there's a table full of good food. We have our lunch before going home. Continued our spring cleaning again and I was feeling so sweaty. It was about 9pm when everything was done up nicely and finally I can bath and change into clean clothes. Waited for midnight to arrive and we played with fire crackers! Fun~

Sunday (14th Feb)

It's the Tiger Year and Valentine's Day! Our first destination is to my grandpa's house. I'm still feeling sick and thus I don't dare to eat too much of the cny goodies :(

Monday (15th Feb)

2nd day of the new year and my cousin drove us to Malacca. We have been talking about it for quite some time. Went shopping and not all the shops were open for business. Realized that there is going to be a lion dance performance and we stayed on. There was quite a number of dangerous stunts. After that while on the way home, my cousin drove us to Grandpa's house for dinner.

Tuesday (16th Feb)
Reached Singapore at 7pm. Traffic jam from JB to Singapore Custom. Dear came and meet me and something happened at home. Thanks to Dear for his help. That scene, I won't ever want to see it again since it's too horrifying.

I wonder, when will be the next time when I'm going back again for holiday?

Just before cny, I've wanted to give up on our r/s since you lied to me again. I'm so foolish to be taken aback by your words and give you another chance. The chances that I have given to you, they have slipped away just like gusts of wind. You never know the word 'cherish'.
Tell me, are we suited for each other? I don't know how to keep our r/s going because it's so hard to trust you. Liar liar liar.

31st Dec 2009 (Thursday)
The last day of twenty-o-nine. The day where we met up with some of our friends for the countdown to year of twenty-ten.

Went straight home after I ended work at 12:30pm. Everyone was in the hyper mood for celebrations. Yeah~ Met sis and Yiyuan at Citylink to pass him the panadol and we waited for Dear to arrive. Have dinner at KFC while we slowly met up with Joel, Jaime and her colleagues, Elaine and Chiafong to arrive. We are all ready for the countdown, though the crowd was madness and people were screaming and shouting away. The fireworks are great, with 8.5 mins long. The crowd dispersed soon after the fireworks ended. Made our way home by train. With the accompany of Dear and Yiyuan, sis and I made our way home safely. We reached home at 1 plus am. However, Yiyuan has a bad toothache and I can see that he's really in pain. There's nothing that I can do except to give him some painkillers. Hope he's fine after the extraction.

1st Jan 2010 (Friday)
Woke up at 9am since my whole family is going to Shuang Lin Temple. It's been a yearly routine. We reached the temple at about 10:30am and luckily there's not many people. Walked to central where we have lunch at Fortunate Restaurant. Went to my aunt's house next and we saw baby Cheryl who is so cute. I got the chance to carry her :)

Decided to go home to bath before going out again. Our plan is to tour around at Henderson Waves. But heaven is not on our side. The rain started to pour when we alighted the bus. Took bus to The Cathay where we have dinner at Astons. Next, we walked to iluma for shopping!

Home sweet home next.

Friday
Went to AMK Hub with Dear! He wanted to have his lunch, so I waited for him before going shopping. Train-ed to Somerset for movie, ‘Alvin & the Chipmunks 2’ at 5pm.
The chipettes are so cute. After the movie, we have dinner at the HK café. We strolled and walked to Plaza Sing where I bought my shoes. Home sweet home next.
I don’t like the Christmas present you gave.
Why?
Just because you bought her 2 bears don’t mean you have to make up to me by buying 1 for me.
I don’t need it. I don’t want.
No more bears since it’s occupying too much space in my tiny room!

Saturday
2nd movie this week. We watched ‘Storm Warriors 2’ at 10am. Thus, I woke up super early at 8am on a Saturday morning. Couldn’t understand the show anyway.

Sunday
Met up with Huixian, Shu Ling and Xiu Fang at Bugis for shopping. A Taiwanese singer was there to promote his album. Big crowd. After that, we walked to Beach Road for fishhead steamboat . By then, there's slight drizzle and I hate the rain! Early dinner at 5 plus. Took bus to Esplanade.

It’s been a busy week.
Work, work and more work plus visits to the doctor’s..
Seeing so many different specialists, taking so many sick leave :(

Anyway. here's some updates over the weekend.

Friday
My colleague’s farewell, a picture taken with her and the rest of my team.
I'm going to have a new supervisor, which I don't know if it's good or bad.

After work, met up with the thursties at Changi Airport :)
I was super late and we only have our dinner at 8:30pm.
Chilled out at the MacDonald's.
We have laughter, photo-taking session and munching of cookies made by Kimberly.

Thanks to Jannah for the chocolates too.

Saturday
Dear and I went to 313 @ Somerset after he ended work.
A big crowd, and not all the retailers were opened.
It was raining by then.
We decided to walk to Orchard Central which is just nearby.

Next, we walked to Wisma and decided to go home after that.
We didn't have our dinner at Orchard but instead we tried cooking ourselves!
Bought the ingredients at Fairprice and headed to my house for cooking!
We have my all-time favourite pasta, fusilli.
A big plate in fact and my stomach felt so full after that.
Thanks to dear for the efforts :)

And he's going back for reservist.

Sitex 2009!
Met up with dear at 12:30pm.
I was at Aljunied MRT when I saw Joel and his friend.
Took train with him until Tanah Merah and he met his other friend.
Dear and I have our lunch at Expo. So crowded, and we have difficulty finding seats.

Walked around the booths until we reached epicentre since I’m buying his birthday present – a nano which he has always wanted.
Bought the blue one and it comes with a lot of free gifts :)

Train-ed to Tampines where I bought a cake for him next.
Celebrated his advance birthday at his house.
I sang too softly, sorry.

The day ended after dinner @ 店小二.
Took bus and heard that my sis is ill.

Yesterday, I woke up only at 12plus in the afternoon when my sister disturbed my sleep. Have a quick lunch after which I waited for my turn to bath. Hurried down to Bugis (we were late) to meet up with Dear, Jaime, Ken & Chiafong.

At about 3 plus, Joel came. It was unplanned, and he even wore his army uniform. He looks more tanned and fit, and has a huge appetite too. Took a group picture, too bad Yiyuan wasn't present.

Joel hasn’t had his lunch, thus we went to Food Junction with him. Spent most of the time there, before we decided on where to have dinner. Chiafong opened up the presents given by us. Joel helped her to put on the necklace without hesitating!

It was about 5pm when we headed to basement 1 since he wanted to drink bubble tea. Bid goodbye to him near the MRT. Time for him to book in again. Though it's just a short meet-up with the birthday girl, he still made the efforts to leave home early instead of resting more at home. Chiafong should feel touched.

Following up closely were dinner, cake-cutting session and singing of birthday song for Chiafong’s 21st Birthday.

After dinner, we went to the arcade at iluma. Dear got a piggy bolster for me! :) Ken got another for Jaime. Due to the excitement and fun from thinking of the various techniques in catching the soft toys, Dear got one each for Chiafong & sister too.

He knew that I like the Minnie Mouse bolster, so he got another one for me after 9 tries! So determined to get it for me. Yeah~ Ended up I brought home 2 bolsters. Both are pink colours, so pretty and nice :D

A lovely day.
Pushed aside all my worries and deadlines for work.

It’s our 1st anniversary.
A day to remember.
A day when we first wore our couple tees. (Don't laugh okay!)
From 3pm to 7pm, we were shopping around at Orchard.

1st checkpoint: Orchard Central
Singapore is too small, every weekend we got to crack our heads to decide where to go.
Saw one of the TV actors and a deejay from FM93.3.
All the malls were rather empty, only with a few souls walking around and students who just ended school.
The feeling is great, not crowded and we can take our time to shop.
The comfortable and nice red sofas were being kept away.

After that, we also walked to Cineleisure, Heeren, Paragon, Far East Plaza and Shaw House.
Sat down for a tea break at LJS.

Got tired after walking for so long.

At 7pm, we headed for dinner.
A nice ambience, dim lights and soft music.

Monday blues ~
How I wish today is holiday for me.

Anyway, a lovely weekend has just passed.
Dear and I went shopping at the new mall at Farrer Park, City Square Mall. There were pre-opening sale and discount coupons were distributed too. Majority of the retail outlets at the higher levels have yet to be leased out, but overall the mall is larger then expected.

Our ice cream for dessert is at Swensens! Didn’t take picture of the ice cream we ordered. But we took picture of ourselves.

We have dinner at 6pm, couldn’t eat much since my stomach is still feeling quite full. After which, we walked back home.

Just cut my hair this morning.

It was my suggestion to go to Vivo City. We reached there at about 4pm and started our shopping. Didn’t catch a movie in the end, but saw a live performance by a military band.

When we get tired of shopping, we went outside to enjoy the breeze and take photos. I love the greenery views :)

Filled our stomach at Green House Café. Soup, main course, drink and dessert.

By the time we wanted to go back, we were interrupted by a lady from a famous studio introducing us a makeover package. Well, I admitted that it's rather attractive and I have always wanted to go for a makeover. But, I didn't take up the offer. Felt so bad to the lady who keeps trying to persuade us.

The journey back home seems so fast..

A hot weather.

Went to Dear’s house in the afternoon.
We have something special for our tea break – Nachos cheese.
Again, I felt hungry before 6pm.
Took bus to Pasir Ris. Saw so many NSmen waiting to book in.

Dined at this HK Kitchen.
It’s my birthday month, so we got a $15 birthday voucher along with a complimentary gift :)

Went to 大姨’s house to visit my niece, baby Cheryl. She’s grown so much ever since I last saw her when she’s 1 month old. She charmed all of us with her big eyes. Upon seeing this big group, she kept crying. Didn’t have the chance to carry her. We left at 4:30pm since sis is going to work.
Soon, it was dinner.

Sunday
It has become a routine to do some work-outs with dear every Sunday. Agreed to run all the way to TP. However, we only managed to complete 3.57km and stopped at Tampines Avenue 2. The distance seemed short while walking back though. Haha. Went to the fitness corner after that.
After bathing, took bus to interchange and dinner was at Carl’s Junior. Large fries, large drink.

Monday
Public holiday. Sleep sleep sleep.
My sis taught me how to make mooncake too! But I made a lot of silly mistakes which is so funny!

Mid-september is here. So envy of those who are still in their ‘teens’. Lol. Those guys who are enlisted, all the best. Including Joel.

Dear & I met Yiyuan, sis, Joel and his 2 friends at Kallang MRT on Saturday. Planned an outing to Kallang Leisure Park. Went there by shuttle bus which is fast and easy. It was a short outing, Joel and friends have yet to have their lunch so they filled their stomach at the food court. Arcade was next. I think they have fun playing the 'Spot the differences' game. The 4 of us entertained ourselves as we tried shooting the basketball into the net. My skills is lousy as usual. The 3 of them continued with bowling while we left early with Yiyuan.

Some problems occurred. Headed to Sportslink since the next shuttle bus will only arrive at 4:40pm, which is 45 mins more.

Saturday
Supposedly a day for me to catch more sleep. Due to my blood test, I woke up at 8:30am to get ready to head off to the polyclinic. Dear was nice to accompany me :)

Minutes later, the blood test was done and I felt relieved. Following next, we took bus back to TPY interchange where we have MacDonald for lunch. Another 1.5hrs bus journey to Pasir Ris since we are going to chalet! When we arrived at the allocated room, the rest (Bee Yean, Yiyuan, Jaime, Joel & Chiafong) were at NTUC to buy the ingredients for the evening's BBQ, left only Eunice & Anson.

Waited for time to pass by. The room was crowded. Small chit-chats and laughter when they are back. Decided to take a walk. It was a sunny weather. Saw a performance by ‘Tom and Jerry’.

BBQ session was next. At about 6pm, the guys helped to start up the fire and barbequed the food. We have a birthday celebration (Joel & I) too.

Lastly, thanks to Jaime, Yiyuan & sis for the efforts to organize this chalet.

Sunday
Checked out at 10:30am. Breakfast at Burger King. Home sweet home. Tired. Haha. Took a nap after I came back from TPY. Was woken up when I heard the cute little boy’s voice.

Monday
On leave! My mum and brother went back to Malaysia today in the morning. It was my 20th Birthday. Dear celebrated it with me :) I wanted a cheesecake, so he bought a blackcurrant cheesecake for me.
Movie-ing, 3D ‘G-Force’ at GV Tampines. Couldn’t really understand the movie. Felt a little bit giddy when I wear the goggles. LOL. Dinner was at the HK restaurant.

Thanks to those who bothered to care, who sent me those birthday wishes, who organised the chalet, who celebrated my birthday with me! :D

8月26日，农历七月初七，是中国传统的七夕节。相传天上牛郎织女当晚实现一年一度的相会，关乎爱情，七夕便逐渐被称为中国“情人节”。

In other words, it’s white Valentine’s Day. The legend of love between a couple who only managed to meet once a year on this day. The Chinese then named it as 七夕节(东方情人节)快乐. Sounds romantic?

No doubt I‘m going to walk across the bridge (Lover’s Bridge) tonight. Interested parties to turn up would be Dear, Joel, Yiyuan etc. Haha. Yeah, and I’m looking forward to it.

A relaxing day today because I have finished up most of my entries for month-end. Haha. I feel hungry again due to my increased appetite.

Met dear at Orchard Mrt and due to the crowd, we have some difficulties trying to locate each other. Have our dinner at Ion food court before we did some shopping. I felt a little uncomfortable after eating so much. Nasi briyani (a big plate) with added potatoes (which is like so much) and a piece of prata. Not wanting to waste food, I gobbled up everything. Next, we walked to Orchard Central. It's Friday but the mall seems so empty and quiet. The good thing is, there's comfortable sofas at each level, 11 storeys high. Haha.

Saturday
A trip to Marina Barrage by shuttle bus. People were enjoying their weekend, so is the same for us.

A quick update before I get down to work.

Finally, I used my lunch time to blog. Recently, my blog has got no pictures. Looks boring, isn't it? This week has been monotonous. I wonder, I think and think. 2 days of absence from work is enough to make me busy. LOL. Suddenly, I miss school. I miss TP.

Duh. I feel like I’m a weakling all of a sudden. More pills and pills. Iron, vitamin c, calcium. Cabbage, spinach, cauliflower, brussels sprouts. Why must it dawn on me?

If you ask me what are the 3 wishes I want to be granted:
1) Better health, healthier me
2) Exciting 21st birthday
3) (Redundant to put here)

NDP'09 Come Together: Reaching Out, Reaching Up

Happy National Day! Yesterday was the nation’s 44th birthday. Cheers to Singapore! Dear and I are 2 lucky souls to have been able to be at the scene of the whole ceremony.

Both of us set off at about 4:30pm and by the time we reached, it’s coming to 5:30pm. It wasn’t long before the emcees greeted us with their loud and enthusiastic voices. With great anticipation, the audience get ready to be screened on TV, the live performances. That’s when the highlights started!

One of the performances includes the Total Defence Display, an action-packed showcase of the Home Team’s capabilities in air, water and on land. The show proper is made up of 10 chapters, each corresponding to a line in the pledge. The Parade is what I’ve been looking forward to. My eyes glued on the Guard-of-Honour Contingent, each wearing their neatly-pressed uniforms and executing their drills in sharp movements. Wow! :)

Everyone sang the national anthem with pride and recite the pledge with gusto.
The grand finale gathers all participants, singing a song. We all know that it time to say goodbye, time to conclude this year’s celebration.

Home sweet home.
A wonderful show.
A wonderful night.
A cooling weather.

Yeah! I’m celebrating NDP at Marina Bay on the 9th August!

Still remember that in Sec 3, my fellow schoolmates and I participated in an event by Chingay performing wushu. In my poly year 1, we ‘sort of’ participated but it wasn’t shown in TV. Haha. Dear and I are going to be part of the audience on Sunday :)

2 more days to weekend.
Didn't manage to sleep well last night. My arm still hurts.

Over the weekend,

- So deeply upset by the incident happened.

- Received my S.H.E book from dear. Thanks!
- I finally started to exercise and and ran a distance of 1km.
- I flipped through my childhood photos. Saw my ‘nerdy look’
- Lunch-ed at Pastamania

- Preparing myself before the injection on Monday.

Just reached office since I took half day leave. I booked an appointment to take a jab for the prevention of cervical cancer. Got it at a discounted rate since Alfred’s sister passed me a voucher given by her company. I didn’t know that there’s a vaccine for it. The cancer which is ranked sixth for women.

He accompanied me to the clinic. Feeling scared as I might, I still pulled through. My left arm is still feeling numb. After that, we walked to Amoy Street and headed home for lunch.

My stomach was growling at 11am and have been craving for lunch. Dear met me at Chinatown and we both wanted to have Swensens 1-for-1 meal. However, we decided to change plan due to the long queue.

Lunch was good. For the 2nd time in this week, dear came to meet me for lunch. Both of us have Macdonald’s double fillet meal. Feeling so full, I slowly walked back to my office. Sitting down for 9 hours in a day is enough of making me grow fatter.
When I reached my office, to my dismay, I saw this:

On Saturday when I went out, I happily wore my grey colour heels to go shopping. I thought that my legs might be able to take it. However, my toes started to form 1 big blister on each toe. And it’s super painful. I can’t even walk properly, I have to put on plasters. Now, it has become swollen. I applied some medicated oil but when the oil contacted my skin, it’s ultra painful. No choice but to tolerate it :( I’m going to have a hard time walking these few days.

Just ate my double fillet meal at Macdonald. Dear met me for lunch. So happy :)

I went to Clarke Quay at about 2pm with Dear after he ended work. The shopping mall was empty and we decided to settle down for lunch after walking one round. Train-ed to Somerset and we walked around at Cineleisure. I bought a tube/spaghetti dress and I liked it so much.

I shall dedicate this to the special someone. I have managed to push myself beyond my fears and I’m beginning to feel more comfortable. I wasn’t able to trust you enough in the past as a result of my past experiences. Through those tiny little things you have done, I can say that I’m beginning to trust you more. And because of you, I know that my life is beautiful :)

Several months ago, e-mails have been spreading that an earthquake will erupt on this day, 22nd July. My siblings and I were talking about it during dinner. But thank god it is not happening.

Dear came to my house for dinner and he stayed till 9pm. I accompanied him to the bus stop to send him home and on the way, I saw rats! Crawling in front of me and I immediately screamed :( In the end, I walked a longer distance to get home :)
Sorry that I said the wrong words. Give me time and I’ll gain trust in you. Just like what I wrote, I want someone whom I can trust and rely on.

The morning rain dampened my mood at work. I love rainy days especially when I can hide underneath my blanket. On the other hand, I dreaded rainy days too since carrying an umbrella is a no no for me.

As there is a transparent glass panel in front of my workstation, I’m able to see the big water droplets hanging there. The scenery is beautiful especially when I need some open air and I'll tend to peer through the panels. I stuck at this purchase journal (power supply invoice) which it requires a troublesome 3 steps to consider that the invoice has been taken in completely.
The steps are as follows : data entry in the payables transaction entry with the full amount, credit note to less off the amount of electricity consumed by tenants, means that we only pay for our own usage and lastly, a receivables transaction entry to net off the account ‘Recoverables – Others’.

Yet, I have done it wrongly in my first attempt. My supervisor wants me to try again and she doesn’t want to tell me the answer. Based on my own knowledge, I use trial and error. Haha. And she’s on half day leave in the afternoon :)

If it's so difficult, the 1st choice is always open.

I woke up late on Saturday and thus, I met sis, Jaime and Yiyuan in the afternoon at Wisma Atria. Shopped a while as Jaime wanted to buy her stuffs. It was not long when they decided to have their lunch at Taka food court.

After that, I wanted to look for that wallet but to no avail. Shall try my luck next time again. At 4:30pm, sis went for work and Yiyuan accompanied her. The 3 of us bus-ed to Golden Mile Complex and we have steamboat for dinner. With the plan of holiday in mind, we headed to Five Stars Tour. Have decided on which tour to go, just waiting for my parents’approval. Throughout this journey, you can tell that I’m unhappy. But it’s been resolved.

Yeah, I know that it's pleasing for your eyes. Are you going to carry on your bad habit, even next time when we're married? I can’t take it, as for the reason, I don’t wish to rake up the past again. I wanted to initiate the break up, but... I don't know. I’m not going to care anymore.

Firstly, I shall say that yesterday (11th July) is a special day, for 2 of them in particular. Just want to say 'Congrats, still got a long way to go.'

Secondly, I have been looking forward to seeing Zhang Dong Liang at Heeren. I met sis and Yiyuan at 2pm after I have my lunch. Even before I called to inform that I have reached, I bumped into them at Level 2.
Walked over to Heeren and the crowd was lesser than expected since the majority already went for the previous autograph session at IMM. Yiyuan said that I'm very crazy. LOL. Waited for Joel and Jaime to reach. Just before the arrival of the idol, we took some pictures.

We stood at second level, and since Zhang Dong Liang walked in from the specially set-up linkway towards the stage, we can't see him while standing at Level 2. He did not really look up at his fans. But at least I get to listen to his 'live' version of 說你也一樣愛著我 :) and sang 3 songs in total. Zhang Dong Liang is so shuai and I like his vocals! His hairstyle is curly.

I took a quick snap of him inside HMV while he's getting ready for his autograph session.
Joel suggested that we go to Orchard Central next, although it's not officially open. So many shops and there's even sofas to sit. Went home next, and they tagged along too.

Time seemed to past so slowly without you around. Ever since I woke up in the morning, I think that it has been a million times since I looked up at the clock.

A hectic week at work is almost over. Everyone was rushing for the month end closing. It became a relieve for me except for the minor mistakes here and there. Still got to improve further.

Went to Dear’s house yesterday night for dinner. Met him at Tiong Bahru first and took train to Tampines. The MRT tracks have some problems and I think that ours is the last train temporary. Luckily we managed to catch it.

The dinner was nice, even the soup also. Celebrated his maid, Janet’s birthday too.

I’m going to see Zhang Dong Liang tomorrow!

The past weekend has been splendid.
Saturday
We have our lunch at home and happily waited for the arrival time to meet up with the rest at Marine Parade. We agreed on giving sis a birthday surprise at her workplace.
Before she actually went for work, she kept asking Alfred and I where we going later.
I thought that she has already suspected something. But luckily no! Met at 6pm. Alfred & I reached the bus stop first. Contacted the rest (Jaime, Yiyuan, Joel, Chiafong) before we made our way in. Her colleagues were there too.

Sang the birthday song and Yiyuan carried the cake. Took some pictures but the birthday girl seemed so reluctant to do so. Haha. After eating the cake, we walked to the hawker centre at Parkway to have dinner. Waited for sis to end work and we headed home together with her.

Next, it’s the celebration at home. Chiafong, Jaime and Joel came along too. Sang birthday song for the second time again. Haha. So fun. Photos-taking session.

Sunday
A total of 12 people turned up! Let’s do a head count. Jianzhi, Yiyuan, Chiafong, Eunice, Anson, Alex, Jaime, Elaine, Joel, the birthday girl, Alfred & I. Finally went to Peranakan Museum since sis wanted to go there after the influence of watching ‘Little Nonya’. Actually to me, the tour was quite boring. Oops.

Had a hard time deciding on the place for dinner. It was raining by the time we wanted to leave. The 3 of us walked to City Hall to collect cake and Alex drove us to Bugis Iluma. Dined at ‘Hua Li Xuan’ which is owned by Anson’s aunt.

Celebrated her birthday. We proudly presents to her the 21 presents shared by us.

It was about 9pm when we left and the rest wanted to go arcade. A while later, we decided to leave while Jaime and Alex remained there.

My parents are back yesterday after 2 days short trip back to Malaysia to attend my Uncle’s funeral.
This tragic news gave everyone a shock.
It was Tuesday morning when I heard the news from sis, who tap me on my hand to wake me up.
I stayed at home from morning and afternoon as I buried myself in thoughts.

When I chanced upon that, I felt like I’m a total fool. A small matter, but the truth is better than a lie.
Wanted to ignore you, but I dun wish to be a spoiler on that day. I pretend as if I didn’t see it at all.

I recalled back to the day when you told me about the Dubai work opportunity.
You asked for my answer and I replied you. I felt sad and my eyes were wet when words came out of my mouth.
I thought that I have really fallen for you. But no. I don't know how to describe that feeling of mine.

The past weekend has been pleasant except for the super duper ultra bad sore throat.
I felt the pain in my throat whenever I ate something :(
Be a good girl as I stayed at home on Saturday.
Yesterday, we have our dinner at Cineleisure Hong Kong Café.
I had porridge for dinner while dear ordered fish fillet rice.
Ordered so many stuffs. Siew mai, custard buns and the peanut butter toast.

Went to Takashimaya and Isetan before we headed home.

Finally went to see doctor for my sore throat.

3 months passed by ever since I joined this company, considering that this is my first job.
It came to be a ~~great~~ good news when I became a confirmed staff yesterday.
I saw the appraisal evaluated by my direct superior, and I scored mostly 7 or 8 out of 10.
Haha!
Nothing much, went straight home after work.

Woke up today and still feeling tired.
It’s like I did not catch a wink at all.

My blog is collecting dust, and readership dropped.
On Saturday, we (Chiafong, Joel, Yiyuan, Alex, Eunice, Anson, Alfred, sis and I went to Jaime’s house. It’s just like a small reunion though not all were present. Met Alfred at Parkway to wait for my sis to end work. We bought a shirt for dad’s birthday. Took shuttle bus to Bedok and transferred bus 69 to Jaime’s house. Those who have reached already hid inside Jaime’s room. Haha. So we entertained ourselves first. When they came out, we played Uno and it was fun! My sis accidentally toppled over one of the drinks and the a portion of the floor became wet. Sorry to Jaime for the mess. Haha.
Her mum and her made dragonfruit fruit with papaya drink with added mint leaves. Taste so nice :) Thanks! Not forgetting the mini sandwiches and cakes too.

After that, Anson, Chiafong, Alex, Jaime, Alfred, sis and I played polka cards and ‘Truth or Dare’ while the rest watched the show on Channel 8. Haha. Apologies to Alex that we asked so many questions. LOL.

Left for dinner at Bedok food centre at about 8 plus. Took bus 26 bus with my sis. The rest headed home too.

Yesterday, I practically rot at home. Washed clothes (my mum went back to Malaysia) and it was only a while before my dad came back. I love the durian smell :)
Bought dinner and headed for a walk at the park downstairs.

Tired and I slept at about 11pm.

Walked round and round still couldn’t decide on a suitable gift agreed upon by everyone.

Wanted to go to Bishan.
And how do we get there?
Took bus and alighted at Serangoon where we took the train at the Circle line.
First time taking that line! Haha.
Out of a sudden the train stopped moving and the MRT people got to open up the console and drive manually.
Funny sia.
Then, we went to the library again.
Wanted to borrow the book I wanted but couldn’t find. Nevermind.
Haha.
Reached home at 8:30pm.

Yesterday, my mum brought me to Toa Payoh Polyclinic to see doctor.
We reached there at about 8:30am and patients have already started coming in.
Waited until 10 plus then is my turn.
Feeling hungry and tired.
The doctor asked me to take X-ray to have a view of the lungs.
If it is normal, I got to take another test called spirometry test to diagnose the seriousness of asthma and go to the asthma clinic for consultation by the specialists.
Ended up my result is normal.
So yeah, got to take the test in 2 weeks’ time.
Appointment date has been fixed on 12 June which is on a weekday.
So I don’t know whether I should take unpaid leave or what.

After payment for my oral tablets at the pharmacy, we left the polyclinic and I headed for work.
I reached office before 1pm.
But I still not sure is it considered half day unpaid leave.
Asked my boss, she also don’t know.
Then HR also never get back to me.
Haha.

But today, I'm feeling better.

I sort of have some breathing difficulties since last Friday.
WHY?
On Wednesday, I drank this tonic soup specially for asthma and it seems to come back again though it healed already when I took the medicine which the GP prescribed.

After work, went to Tiong Bahru to meet Alfred, his colleague and his wife, Joanne to have dinner.
His colleague drove us to the market where we have steamboat.
Yummy!
Was deciding where to go next since it’s still early.
Watched a movie at Great World City.
I totally don’t understand the movie. So it’s kinda boring.
Cab-ed home.

Saturday
The Chinese version for ‘Let’s Not Forget The Lyrics’ is on at Cineleisure K Box.
And it aroused the interest of Joel and Alfred. Haha.
Eunice and Anson came to support too.
However, the number of participants for the day has exceeded by the time they wanted to get their queue number.
Shopped at Far East since Eunice wanted to get her necklace.
Saw my cousin and her husband too.
Haha.
Then, I got a call from my sister saying that we are meeting them at 5:30pm at Tampines.
Took bus 5 and I think we travelled for like an hour.
However due to change of plan, we alight at Downtown East.
Journey was so super long.
Bumped into Yiyuan as well.
My sis, Chiafong and Jaime also came to meet us before they go for their friend's BBQ.
So coincident that our group is here although we're at different locations.
Dinner was at Mac and decided to go home next.

Back to work today after having a day’s break yesterday because I took leave to attend my Graduation Ceremony.
Feeling excited, it could be the last time that I’m seeing some of the TP friends.
Some will be going for further studies, working, waiting for enlistment etc.
A happy occasion yet sad, sad that it just concluded our 3 years with a beautiful and memorable note.
We’re young adults and not students anymore :(
I still can vividly remember one of the lecturers (Is it my Care Person?) told my class that students cry during Graduation Day, because this is the day when the students are being let go of and allowed to fly on their own.
Flying wings ahead. So touching. Haha.
The whole ceremony took place for 1.5 hours after which refreshments are served.
And not forgetting photo session as well. But I didn’t manage to take many pictures :(

Yesterday, bus-ed to Tampines in the morning to go to Alfred’s house before joining them for their family lunch at Singapore Expo Bliss Restaurant.
His brother then drove us there. Thejourney was fast.
Waited for his sister, parents and grandma since we reached there first.
Dishes after dishes were served, and the food is nice :)

Decided to walk in into Tampines 1 while waiting for Alfred.
Crowded as usual, I did not linger for long.
Walked back to interchange and after that headed to Nokia Care.
Did some shopping at NTUC and walked to the library to return books and with the intention of borrowing books.
But, the library was closed and I suddenly remembered that it’s a public holiday.

Met Alfred at Bugis library at about 3 plus and we headed to borrow our 小说.

Been working for the past weeks.
Hmmm.. It’s still okay bah.
Finally, have my lunch group.

My office is undergoing renovation works now, newer cupboards etc.
And we got to shift all our files to place them in the cupboards near the pantry.

Luckily, I got the help of the 2 guys from the ‘fitness club’.

I have to stop staring at the PC for some time.

In the morning when I came, the manager asked me to do this flow chart, 3 of them, using excel.
I’m fine with using excel, but her handwriting is way too messy for me to figure out what she’s writing.

She told me that if I can’t read, I draw out the box will do.
Haha. This makes me feel safer.

Initially, planned to complete by lunch time by at 11:30am, I already finished doing it. Haha.

Well, it has been one week since I started work. Initially, I wasn’t used to waking up so early (cause I love my cosy bed!). Haha.

I’m getting used to the job scope, learning bit by bit. Although the company also uses MGP, their method of doing things is slightly different from Cathay due to their nature of business. I need to ask many questions and also taking down notes. My supervisor is very patient to teach me, since I believe there’s a lot more I need to learn since I’m a fresh grad. My colleagues are nice too.

Wanted to post this yesterday but didn’t. So here am I to rant.

I’m feeling so terrible. My relationship with them is so strained. We are like strangers who don’t even bother to talk when we cross paths. Even sometimes strangers also do try to make friends. But, living under one roof and we are no different from strangers?

It's a small matter and yet they are kicking a big fuss over it.
I never have a good talk with them, for a black sheep is always a black sheep.

The past. What’s the point of raking it up to make me so upset about it? Maybe doing so will make them happy, by repeating it over and over again. So sick and tired of all these.

Yesterday at work, I thought that I’m dying. My eyelids are so heavy that it felt like shutting. Some more, I have a bad sore throat. Didn’t even go out for lunch yesterday. In the morning when I arrived at my workplace, I thought that my contact lens (left side) dropped because my vision wasn’t very clear. Kept rubbing my eyes and finally the contact lens shifted place but luckily I managed to put it back in.

Time passes and so glad that finally 5:30pm came, which means I can end work. I hurriedly finished up my work so that I can leave on time. But I did not go straight home. I wanted to be alone and decided to wander around. I dislike this thing called ‘home’ more and more. Nobody understands me.

Reached home slightly after 9pm. I’m dead tired and I thought that I could just dropped dead on my bed. Slept at 10pm~

I really need time to think.

Phew!
What a day to begin with.

Set my alarm at 8am, with the intention of going to Kranji goat farm with Shu Ling, Hui Xian and Xiu Fang.
Planned my time to reach the destination, so left home at 9am.
Took bus to Marsiling and transfer train to Kranji.
I reached at 10am, and I thought that I’m early since the meeting time is supposed to be at 10:15am.
But Xiu Fang msged me to say that all 3 of them reached already, left me!

Haha.
The shuttle bus arrived at 10:30am and guess what happened.
The driver just simply drove off, not oblivious to passengers at all.
So dumb!
Or maybe because it’s MORNING, and no one will visit the goat farm that early.
The arrival of the next shuttle bus will be at 12pm, which means another 1.5 hrs! -_-"
Waited and waited..

Finally the mini shuttle bus came at 11:30am.
Thought that we can board the bus, who knows it’s only for the passengers to alight.
We can only board the bus at 12pm.

WAITED again.
When we reached our destination, the driver told us that there is inspection going on by the AVA people..
In the end, cannot see goat.
The bus u-turned to Kranji again and we are off to CWP for lunch.

Lunch-ed at the food court.
After lunch, walked to Woodlands Interchange to take bus to Tampines.
WAITED damn long for the bus.
Everywhere we go, we have to wait.
LOL.

Back home at 5 plus.
Dead tired cause didn’t sleep well last night.

Woke up super early at 7:30am today to go down to Tampines. Can’t stand my reddish and itchy skin. The queue was super longgg and I waited for 3.5 long hours for a less than 10 mins consultation.

Walked around, go back to school to surf net in order to pass my time. Went back again, there's still 12 more patients before my turn. Took bus down to TM to waste another hour or so. I had actually missed my turn when I went back again! No choice. Got to wait 3 more :(

It's lunch time already by the time I got home. Hungry! Although I did buy something to eat before that.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Movie marathon yesterday.
Watched ‘Wedding Game’ and “All’s well ends well’ at AMK.
Arrived late at the cinema hall and missed the front part of ‘Wedding Game’.
People around us were all carrying bouquet of roses.

But I didn't.

LOL.

After the show at about 7:30pm, decided to have dinner at New York New York.

The queue was super long.

Even formed a 'U' shape already.

Finally got to order our food after half an hour plus.

This is the food which we were too full to finish them up.

Overall, it was a good day spent before I start to study for my exams today.

Mei Peng is a happy girl! :D
She doesn’t have any projects to worry now.
Just have to conquer the 2 main papers starting next Friday!

Well, finally I have a good sleep today.
And I must really emphasize on the word ‘sleep’ because for the past weeks or so, we are all talking about projects. Waking up so early just to meet up for projects, staying in school until 9 plus at night, staying up late just to compile and edit the report, turning up in school on SUNDAY for projects. Haha. How busy we can be? Yeah. It’s been a really really busy semester. And my poly life is ending :( What's life after graduation? I don't know.

Just now went to my aunt’s house to visit my cousin and her new-born baby. She has just given birth on 7 Feb. Congrats to her! And it’s a baby girl :) It just so happen that I have no school today so I was asked to accompany my mum to my aunt's place and to bring my grandfather to my house and stay. This is how the baby looks like:

Monday
Yesterday, we had our last project submission. 2 projects in fact. We were all so happy. And Hwee Shan even asked if we will miss doing projects. LOL. Anyway, went home and watched TV after that. Haha. Feel so good. Super tired and I even have a slight headache. I guess is the stress all this while. 9pm and I'm already sleeping in bed!

Sunday
Turn up in school. First and the last time to be in school for projects. The security guard even asked me to sign in. So ma fan. Then, went to Alfred’s house to see his niece. So small and cute. Haha. I continue to do my projects at his place. At night, I was too rush to go home. Cos a bit tired. Sorry. I know that I am partly at fault. We have a good talk today before going home.

Saturday
Back in school at 930am. Do project until about 1 plus. 3 weeks never watch movie and finally can watch movie today. Watched ‘Love Matters’ at Cineleisure. Haha. I like the show. Jack Neo's movie is always nice. Inside the cinema, I was feeling super cold. Thus, I kept coughing cause I still have yet to fully recover. Dinner at 9 plus after the show.

Friday
正月初十二。Today is my cousin’s wedding. On Thursday night, my whole family went to their house and stay. My grandfather, sixth aunt together with her 2 kids were there. Haha. They make a lot of noise. Slept at 12 plus midnight and woke up at 3am. So early. The groom arrived at 5. Morning gate crashing was funny and pictures can be seen below. My cousin looks so pretty on her wedding day.

Went back home at 7 plus. Slept for an hour then wake up to go to school. Haha. Projects again but I need to leave early at 4 to go home and change before going for the wedding dinner. It was held at Marina Mandarin Singapore. Nice ambience. 1st time there. Congrats to my cousin and Yong Soon! :D Happy holidays to you! Haha.

I'm sick again :( Poor me.

Ended lessons early yesterday.
After project meeting, head home to go see doctor.
Felt a bit feverish and yeah, my temperature was 37.7.
Went home and took a nap for about an hour.
Then took my medicine and head back to school again for the Huang Jinlun and Shi Xinhui campus concert.

Managed to get a good seat because sis's friends were lining up in front and they helped us to book seats.
The concert started late at about 8pm.
Haha. But the concert is super nice!
Nice songs and dance.

The best part is my sis got the Huang Jinglun poster.
He threw the poster and she was so lucky to get it!

Went straight back home and it was already 10pm.
Took my medicine again and felt drowsy so slept early.
I guess all the stress from schoolwork and lack of sleep make me fall sick.
Almost fall asleep in class.
Next week is going to be the last week of school.

Still feeling tired now..

My blog has been dead for quite some time.
The past week has been a real busy week. Busy studying for tests, making full use of my time. Haiz.. And the worse thing is, my mind cannot absorb :(

Real tired. Next week is gonna be cny. Will be back in Malaysia. About 1 year didn't go back already. Anyway, exam timetable’s out today!

Finally, I submitted my SIP report on Friday after I spent don't know how many million hours cracking my head to complete it. I know that I have put in the effort. And Entrepreneurship individual report is down too.

Somemore, I really hate this semester. It's soooo short and tight.

2 upcoming tests on Mon and Tues! Shall have a peaceful weekend studying them after those 2 reports are down. Eh wait.. Is it peaceful? Haha.

Merry Christmas!

These 2 days past by so fast. Been so busy because I'm been at Grand Hyatt again. Fun at the same time cause of the familiar faces and the talk-cock people. Woke up so early and back home so late. Haha. Christmas Eve went to Alfred's relative place for celebration and gift exchange. But we were so late. Somemore the last to reach. Well, it's better to be late than never. It was 12 midnight by the time I reached home. Today, never go out. Back home after work.

School is starting soon.

Work and more work. Projects and projects. Well, even holidays are a no rest. LOL.

Things I took over the past few days:

- Work at Hyatt.
- Some diagreements with my parents again.
- Packed my study table.
- Project meetings. Did my entrepreneurship and law projects.
- Flipped through my entrepreneurship notes and realized… Oh!
- Stayed awake until 3am. (which I haven’t done so for so long!)
- I dropped my phone :'(
- Sentosa trip with LoVe! (Cable car, Underwater World, Luge & Skyride. I swear that I’m afraid of heights!)
- Slept until 1 plus for quite a number of days. (PiG...)
- Movie craze again. (gonna watch ‘Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist’ and ‘The day the earth stood still’ tomorrow!)

5 more days to Christmas.
6 more days to 2nd month.

What a great day spent.

I reached Tampines early today so I went to Century Square to help Alfred to collect his phone. Have our lunch first and it was only about 1 plus.

Took train down to Dhoby Ghaut. We have a fetish for ‘dog shows’ today. Haha. It was still early so did some of my report first. A small incident occurred which got me quite upset. It's all in the past already so why bother? 4:15pm, Watched Bolt 3D at The Cathay. First time I watched movie in 3D format. Got to wear this goggles which looked like sunglasses.

After the movie, we left the theatre hurriedly for we need to go to AMK to catch Beverly Hills Chihuahua at 7:45pm :). Dog shows are so cute! Dinner at Pepper Lunch first before the movie. Haha. Then, there is this free rose for completing a survey form from Marie Chia so he asked me to take a picture with it!

Overall, it's a nice day today.

Tomorrow's public holiday!

Attended the 9am Legal Aspects of Business lecture today.
It’s so B-O-R-I-N-G and I don’t even understand a single thing.

Lecture ended at 10am (supposedly 11am).
Travelled 45 mins to get to school to attend the 1 hour lecture =x.
Why I never stay in Tampines? LoL.

Have my lunch and took a nap.

Last friday marks the end of my attachment at Cathay Organisation Holdings.
Haha.
A fulfilling 12 weeks, proud to say that I learnt lots of things there.
I admitted on my laziness sometimes, and complaining on my never-ending pile of work.
Touring around, slacking..... Haha.
Although most of the time I was the one being ‘swan’ and nicknamed '傻姑'.
LOL.
Working life is like -_-‘

Can't wait for 6pm to come on that day.
Now, I'm beginning to miss it.
No more having to wake up at 6:50am to catch that stupid bus. (so damn early)
No more starting work at 8:30am.
No more having to listen to the naggings by my supervisor.
No more getting so troubled over where to eat during lunchtime.

Goodbye to The Cathay.
Most importantly, I learnt to be a happier person again.

Some things I did over the weekend:
- Watched Magadascar 2 at The Cathay!
- Travelled to Tampines Giant to shop around.
- Lunch-ed at the food court.
- Dinner, first time I ate at Pariss International Buffet at Marina Square.
- Nice food there, but mostly seafood which I don’t dare to eat.
- Stomach feel so full.
- Sunday, went to Vivo City again.
- After dinner, sat down to have a nice chat near the seaside.
- Kinda disturbed by some unsightful scenes.
- And hello, it’s a public place come on.
- LOL.

Back to school. To stuff myself with more banking theories?

Mum and bro are going to be back today after being ‘kidnapped’.

Well, went to Sitex IT show yesterday to see see look look with one purpose in mind.
The crowd was like, wow so many people.
To the extent that the MRT is very congested.
It was about 9pm when we left.

So sleepy today morning and I almost couldn’t wake up =x
Gonna be the last day of work.
3 months passed so fast yeah?

Yeah, and I congrats myself for folding 200++ stars over the weekend.

Saturday stayed at home to be a guai kia (???!!!). Slept until about 12pm until my sis woke me up to ask if I wanted to buy lunch. I was like thinking, can I continue to sleep. LOL. Dragged myself up to go wash up. After that, all I did was to be a couch potato and sit in front of the TV as I watched one show after another. Household chores again too =X Kinda lazy to walk.

Caught another movie - Quantum of Solace yesterday night at The Cathay. Hahahahaha. Dinner at Plaza Sing and I saw Jerene and Shiyuan. Played one round of arcade and I lose again. Lol. I'm just not that pro when it comes to gaming.

Brought the 2 cute Care Bears (1 blue & 1 pink) home. It's just so cute and really like a couple. The problem is, I'm thinking where to keep one of them cause they will have occupied half the space if I put both bears on my bed. And it's so huggable. Haha. The scrapbook (don't know what is it called) is nice too, though it's not totally made by you :)

One more thing. Haha. And I think my sis has got a new target. LOL. Free publicity over here. *winks*

Back to blog. Nothing much happened recently. Work as usual. Hey, I’m loving my SIP. Haha. And yeah, next week marks the end of this internship. Fast right?

I’m living my independent life again. Reason being I have ‘kidnapped’ my parents to another country on earth. And I’m home alone with my sis. She always complain that I never do much of the housework :( Complain queen. LOL. I shall prove her wrong soon. Nvm.

Over the weekend, watched ‘The Coffin’ with Alfred at Cineleisure. Haha, guess I can’t really watch horror movies now. So useless.. Kept using the jacket to cover my face. But the movie so-so only, cause I don’t really know the entire story outline when I’m too scared to look at the screen. Luckily, we sat at the last row.

Yesterday, was feeling a bit irritated. Some errors during work and got to amend it. My supervisor is on leave until next Tuesday. Which means.. Haha.

Tired. Eyes closing already..

It’s tiring at work but time ticks away fast when I have so many tasks on hand. I’m so looking forward to lunch time today. Why? Haha. Because I’m very hungry and I’m meeting Alfred for lunch as agreed.

There was a slight drizzle then, luckily I brought my umbrella (which is so seldom the case). We walked to Waterloo Street. Dhoby Ghaut area eat until sian =x Though it’s a bit far, but it’s still worth it. This 1 hour lunch break is so short. Wanted to take a short nap in my office today after I went back for lunch, but didn't. Haha.

And I'm nickname-ed 傻姑 (blur auntie) by my colleagues =P

Overall, I'm happy today!

Celebrated Chiafong’s birthday yesterday.
Happy Birthday!!

Left home at 12 plus. Sis and I bought a cake for her and headed to Macpherson to meet the rest.
Took bus to Ubi, which is her place. We sang her a birthday song..

Up next was to go to Marina. On the way to take bus 63, we saw the newly built MJRSS.
Haha. A complete new environment and the old campus will shift to Ubi from next year onwards.
Cam-whoring..

Joel’s plan was to go to Marina Barrage to observe the nice scenemarina barrage at about 4 plus.But our timing was wrong. The weather there was freaking hot and there were crowds and crowds of people. Even the shuttle bus we took was so full.

Took train to City Hall and walked to Suntec City. Dinner at Pepper Lunch. After eating, Jaime suggested that we played games. The punishment is to drink up the plain water. All in all, I drank about 3 or 4 cups :( My stomach is bloated with water. LOL.

Shopped around because Chiafong wanted to buy her friend a gift. It was not long before all the shops began closing operations for the day. Went arcade to play a while. Then, decide how to go back home. Ken and Jaime took bus over at Suntec while the 4 of us walked over to Bugis to take bus. Reached home at about 10:30pm. Tired~ But feeling refresh after showering. Talked on the phone a while before going to bed.

Saturday
I received a phone call asking me to check my e-mail.
Haha.
It did brighten up my day a little, kinda touched when I saw it :)
Meet up with Mr Liau at 4pm.
Watched ‘Butterfly Lovers’ at AMK Hub.
I liked the storyline.
Sad yet romantic :)

Dinner was next, before we took train to Orchard.
Walked to Wheelock place, and to our surprise, the Nokia store has closed.
Luckily, we managed to go in and service the handphone.
Not a wasted trip.

Decided to go to Clarke Quay, to enjoy the beautiful scenaries.
Reminiscing about the past again.
Walked all the way to Marina and back again.
I was curious about the office's previous location at Robertson Walk.
So, toured for a while there.
Haha.

The rest I shan't mention it.

Reached home at about 12am.

Sunday
Woke up at about 10 plus.
Can't sleep.
Haha.
Have a light breakfast and took my medicine.
Feeling drowsy so went to take a nap at 12:30pm.
(I'm a pig, Oops!)
2:30pm, my sis woke me up, asking me to get ready to go out.
Have my lunch first, and change to go out.
Went to City Hall.
Haha.
The place during weekend is always so packed.
At MPH, tried looking for the book (for Chiafong's birthday), but couldn't find it.
Ended up buying another book for her.
After that, walked to Bugis (exercise our legs), and took bus home.

Officially, I have 24 more work days left!

How time flies.
I was on MC yesterday, so meaning that the very weak Mei Peng is back again.
All thanks to the rain that I fall sick.
Haha.

Life for me during weekdays are repetitive. As usual, the talk-cock sessions with 2 of my coursemates during lunch break and how we always count down to each passing day, how we always complain about the never ending deadlines to meet and how we always try to create fun for ourselves when we are so free. And last of all, how often we get sick due to the air-con in the office. At least, I wasn’t the only intern there.

I have been thinking, 15 years of education so far, what exactly do I want in my life?

Going to catch a movie later :)
