Miss Happy ![]() Monday, December 17, 2007. Fond Memories Kindergarten 1. You love Winnie the Pooh, Barbie dolls, Mickey and Minnie, Hello Kitty, Garfield, Sailormoon etc. . . 2. You took up drawing lessons together with your sister. You were in different class and you like to go to the toilet on purpose so that you can pass by her class. Primary School 3. You were enrolled into a Buddhist school. 4. Your pocket money is always less than $3. 5. You hated PE lessons, since you weren’t active in sports. 6. You dread Science lessons, for you have to do experiments which you don’t have the slightest clue what it is about. 7. You see your seniors streaming in wearing their Secondary School uniforms during Teachers’ Day. You wish that you can go into Secondary School fast. 8. You took school bus to and from school. 9. You don’t go out with your friends, since your parents are protective of you. 10. You are more or less considered an introvert. 11. You were given pens, files, clips etc during National Day. 12. Your autograph book smells fragrant. It is filled with small poems and words like ‘Forget Me Not’, ‘Friends Forever’, ‘Best Wishes’ and ‘All the best for your PSLE’ from your friends and teachers. 13. You remember that guys love to play with their erasers. That is their favourite pastime. 14.Your classmates love to pull jokes on you. 15. You hated school very much. 16. You won 3rd position in a Chinese Calligraphy Competition. 17. You dread Maths lessons, for your Maths teacher, Ms Ong is very fierce. 18. Your Maths worksheet is always written down with the words ‘See me’, since your correction is always wrong. You have to stay back to complete them and you fear that you may miss your school bus as a result. 19. Although you hated your Maths teacher, you almost cried when you learnt that she will be leaving on Teachers’ Day. 20. You tried to fulfill the tasks for a Young Botanist and you manage to obtain a badge. 21. You love to borrow 22. You will collect all the bus tickets you have and fold them into a heart. 23. You were given envelopes to donate to Sharity Elephant during Children’s Day. 24. You freak out when you have to hold hands with the corresponding boy or girl. 25. Your worksheets were made of brown rough paper of low quality. 26. You carry waterbottle to school everyday. 27. You do not have a handphone, and you envy your friends who have one. 28. You wore Bata shoes to school. 29. You have spelling tests weekly. 30. Your class has about 40 pupils. 31. You study in a Buddhist school, which is affiliated to your Primary School. 32. Your school uniform is blue in colour with two flaps. 33. You were never late for school, not even once in your 4 years. 34. You hated assemblys, for you think that it’s a total waste of time. 35. You were extremely weak in Literature when you were in lower secondary. You failed every single tests and exams and the worst thing is that you ever scored single digit for your test before! 36. You joined NPCC as your CCA, and you delivered your valediction speech on behalf of your fellow squadmates. 37. You have a memorable day during Graduation Day 2005. Given a choice, you will want to choose MJR again. 38. You still remember your form teacher, Mrs Lim (who teaches you double Maths) telling your class that “No time already, just memorise the steps if you cannot do it”. 39. You found A Maths a struggle but you slowly get used to it. You heeded Mrs Lim’s advice and memorise the steps in order to tackle the problems. 40. You have always wanted to go into a Business-related course after your ‘O’ Level. 41. You tried to love Chemistry because it is taught by your CCA teacher-in-charge. You scored higher marks for Chemistry as compared to Physics in the end. 42. You did not go and sit for your Pure Geography ‘O’ Level paper since you think that you could not make it. You don’t want to break the 100% record which has been in history for many years. 43. You left a whole stack of books underneath your table. You do not bring your books home to do your revision. 44. You never fail to study at the last minute although you know that ‘last minute carries Buddha’s leg’ won’t help. 45. You don’t love to read books. That explains your weakness for the language. 46. You have no idea which course to go into if your English could not make it. 47. You were given detention once for not doing your correction for English when you were in lower secondary (ONCE in your 4 years!) 48. Your class thinks that your English teacher, Mr Tan is too naggy. EL lessons are a bore but you tried hard to listen and absorb as much as you can. 49. You stood for the whole of 2 periods for your Chinese lessons when you were in Sec. 4, just because you forgot to bring your dictionary to class. Blame it on yourself that you have a strict Chinese teacher. 50. You were dismissed from school as early as 1:15pm if you do not have any remedial lessons. + Fate & Destiny @ 11:29 AM |
